Week Note, 11

206 words about life — 07:56 · 21st Mar 2021

This week:

  • Katy, Lucien and I cleared out the top-floor room which will become the nursery, and decided which colour to paint the walls

  • Katy and I went for our second baby-scan—they were wriggling around so much that we’ll have to go back again next week to finish it (everything’s looking good so far though)

  • my Skillshare class, How to Design Inclusive User Experiences (UX) for People has reached a 100 students—yay!

  • I’ve ordered a Bisley drawer for the Office room to help organise my shit

  • I’ve celebrated 5 years at Studio 24—and I’m looking for the next challenge

  • I’m missing having Finnish rye bread (Vaasan Ruispalat)—making the sensible decision to not go to Finland last Christmas meant I wasn’t able to stuff my face, and suitcase, with my favourite bread

  • favourite song: Talk to Me (feat. Lzzy Hale) by Apocalyptica

  • currently reading: The Checklist Manifesto: How to Get Things Right by Atul Gawande

  • Covid-19 cases (UK): 4,304,839 (21st March)1
