In which I give you, most handsomest of readers, a carefully curated playlist of classic Christmas songs, modern Christmas songs and Gregorian chant songs.
Hey, I’m Carlos Eriksson.
Designer, front-end developer, illustrator, artist, musician, writer, blah blah.
For the past 15 years I’ve been
crafting experiences that focus on functional and beautiful designs. I’ve had the pleasure of having my work featured on e.g. xbox.com and some of my work is seen by tens of thousands of people on a daily basis.
In which I teach my son the important lesson of taking your time to choose the perfect Christmas tree, by taking him out into the woods to chop his very first tree.
In which I count the numerous days until I can put on my finest suit, comb my grey hair, go to my local shop to pick up their most expensive ivory pipe and start smoking again.
In this month’s issue of Keeping Up With the Erikssons: My mom flies in to stay with us and together we try eating pizza made from insects, I begin a year long beard journey, I vow to write a 50,000 word novel in a month by participating in National Novel Writing Month and we attend the WWII experience “Christmas on the Home Front” at Kent Life.
In which I confess to being a hipster—like we all didn’t already know that—as well as reveal the ongoing project of growing out a beard for a year. Also, there may be rhyming involved.
