This week:

  • I’ve felt a little rough—first after he Covid booster and then I think I finally caught Katy’s cold

  • Katy and I had our first cooking competition where we showed Lucien two different takes on the brief, “Bendy’s Bacon soup”

  • we celebrated Christmas day at Katy’s parents house—and Jude’s first day out

  • I’ve finished the campaign in Halo: Infinite

  • Lucien and I finally started painting our armies—which means I need to figure out a paint scheme

  • I’ve brought back the annual season’s greetings, in The Resurrection of Christmas

  • earlier this morning, I published What I Read in 2021

  • favourite song: What Makes Us Human by Curtis Schweitzer (Halo Infinite OST)

  • currently reading: My Grandmother’s Hands: Racialized Trauma and the Pathway to Mending Our Hearts and Bodies by Resmaa Menakem
